Purple shampoo and purple conditioner are standard haircare products that are highly saturated with purple pigment. Why would you do that? Well, purple is the color opposite of yellow on the color wheel. So if you have ever dyed your hair blonde or have blondish highlights in your hair, you'll notice that the hair will naturally fade over time to a bronzy yellow or orange undertone. There are a number of factors that can cause this, including your underlying hair color, sun damage, hard water deposit, product residue, etc, and using purple shampoo and conditioner can help re-tone your hair to the dyed color in between "expensive" hair appointments. You may even find that you can go further in-between hair appointments simply by using purple shampoo and conditioner. Aside from blonde and light colored hair, my purple products can also help make gray hair look much better!
