A Head wrap is a headwear in the form of a piece of cloth of any convenient shape, such as a scarf, a strip, a triangle, or a square, variously secured, typically by knotting.
In this video I will be sharing with you one of my go to headwrap style that I wear to go almost everywhere.
Headwraps are definitely a beautiful accessory and it ensures that we take our culture wherever we may be.
Featuring many variations, it is worn as customary headwear by people of various cultures all around the world. Communities with prominent turban-wearing traditions can be found in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa and the Horn of Africa.

Turbans are also worn by the Africans who were enslaved and traded through the Transatlantic slave trade and are now found in the disaproa.
It is worn as a way of protecting the natural hair and also as an accessory in some instances.
Turbans/ headwraps are beautiful and hopefully this video will help you in selecting a style that best suits your purpose for wearing it.
