Let's face it ladies, we have been trained to not like what we see in the mirror. Remember as little girls how we loved to look at our reflections in the mirror? We were mesmerized by our reflections. Somewhere we lost the love of gazing at ourselves. We were taught to see our reflection through the lens of unattainable perfection. In fact, at this stage in our lives, we often try to avoid looking in the mirror all together. You do have the power to love your reflection and experience your beauty.

You truly can transform how you look and feel with the simple act of wearing a wig. When we allow ourselves the opportunity to see ourselves differently, that's transformation. The best thing is that it's not about finding the perfect style and color, its about giving yourself the opportunity to explore, to try different looks and learn to be kind to yourself in the process. Imagine the feeling of seeing your refection loving what you see. It doesn't happen over night to learn to love your reflection, but when you do the work you have the power to transform your life.

Throughout my life I have had an uncomfortable relationship with beauty. I equated beauty with external judgement and a perpetual cycle of seeking whatever I was not to be beautiful. To be honest, I gave up on feeling beautiful so imagine my surprise, when at 40-something I had my world upended. Even crazier was that it was upended by putting on a pink wig at a party. As soon as I put that pink feathery ‘do on my head, I was transformed. I was magnetic, I felt exhilarated, and I did not walk around the party, I sashayed that night! That truly was a life changing experience for me. I spent days trying to figure out what was so powerful about that night. It was so powerful that I couldn’t get away from wanting that feeling. After much contemplation I realized the powerful feeling was beauty. That night, I felt unapologetically beautiful. BOOM…mind blown and life changed.

After that night I became obsessed with giving other women their very own Pink Wig Experience and Woman In Disguise was born. Woman In Disguise is about helping women to experience their beauty and love their reflection.
It is natural to want to feel beautiful, to be beautiful. Beauty is a powerful force in the world, it's why we seek out sunsets and spend nights moon gazing. Ladies, when we don't see our beauty, we diminish our power. Woman In Disguise wants you to experience your beauty unapologetically.
