how to create rumi’s huntrix braid | kpop demon hunters hairstyles

You guys… it’s spooky season, and I am so excited for this one! ???????? Today, I’m recreating Rumi’s hairstyle from Huntrix, and let me tell you — this look is giving total fantasy demon hunter vibes in the best way. It’s bold, dramatic, and seriously perfect if you’re going as Rumi this Halloween. COMMENT???????? who or what you plan to be for halloween?!

We’ll start with the basics — prepping your hair, sectioning it just right into 5 parts (or more if you want). Grab your purple hair extensions and use an elastic to create a loop knot in the middle of each, this will be how you attach them to the 5 sections you made. Once you have all the purple extensions added in you'll essentially create a dragon bubble braid. To do this you flip section 2 over section 1, then pull section 1 around 2 and secure it with an elastic. Then drop section 2 back over and flip section 3 up and over 2, and then pull 2 around and secure it with an elastic... You'll repeat these steps over and over again until you get to the end of the hair.

Now that you have the braid done add in more purple hair wax and colored spray till you cover all the hair, use however much you want to get the desired look you want. Fluff the hair a bit and then add in gold clips, rings, cuffs or hoops for her signature hair accessory. We added some gold flower clips but whatever you have on hand or find that's gold will work! Now you have the Huntrix-style of braids and volume that makes Rumi's hair look so iconic!
